About the Event Space

VisArt is a versatile event space with some unique features. We have a full AV system complete with subwoofer, pa, and spotlights—perfect for live music. Throw in our retractable movie screen and projector and it becomes an affordable meeting space for a speaker with a presentation. With this configuration, you now have a theatre with access to the largest movie archive on the East Coast for a rare cinematic experience. This makes for a cool space for a birthday party, your own private theatre with dinner, or a movie night out for the entire family.

For Film Students

If you’re a film student or aspiring movie director, VisArt is just the place to screen your own creations. The possibilities are endless.

Event Space Areas and Capacity

Areas that can be reserved for private meetings, parties, or events are the museum archive, screening room, garden patio, and mezzanine. Choose the space appropriate to your needs. Our facilities are perfect for parties of 50 – 150.

Selecting multiple areas provides you with the unique opportunity to project the stage or screen outdoors in the garden, at the same time.

Unlike Any Other Event Space

We want to provide you with an experience that is as unique as our event space. We are happy to discuss customized options, services, and menus to make your event or occasion one to remember.
