“Monstrous Desire: Craving Creatures & Charlotte Folklore” with author A. L. Sterling, Ph.D.,.

and spooky guy Jason Tapp of Spooky CLT

Join us for an evening of monster lore, desire, and erotic dread.

Together, we’ll explore why humans have always been drawn to the creatures that frighten us,

tracing our scandalous fascination through Monster Theory, Gothic tradition, and Charlotte Folklore.

We also invite you to rank these creatures of the night on an entirely unscientific–but passionately argued–hotness scale.
