Community Read: Carol Baldwin presents a Fun Workshop: Food, Memories & Writing

In connection with reading Buttermilk Graffiti, join local author Carol Baldwin as you smell, taste, and experience different foods and the memories associated with each one. We will progress from taste-testing to wordsmithing in a fun, hands-on workshop. You are invited to bring a pre-packaged snack or a drink (Cheerwine, anyone?) that evokes personal memories. This is optional; food samples will also be provided by the library.

Carol Baldwin is a local writer, blogger, and educator. Her debut YA historical novel, HALF-TRUTHS, is coming out in June 2025 with Monarch Educational Services. She loves creating stories and teaching others how to mine their lives for their unique stories.
