BLANKSLATE’S next live music show with CACTUS DAYJOB for February 10th has been changed to a charity show for VisArt Video’s long-time employee Matt

VisArt Video is a nonprofit movie rental store that has been a staple in the culture of Charlotte for decades. Matt Christiansen is the friendly face with a mohawk that so many of us are used to seeing at Visart, and he needs our help.

Matt and his fiancé were in a major car accident last month, in which they lost their dog, and their car, and were severely injured. They both went a month and a half without work. Between medical bills from time spent in the hospital, procedures, involuntary time off of work, and the money needed for a new car, things are not easy for Matt and his fiancé.
