Who Told it Best? Book vs. Film: The Wizard of Oz

If you know, you know! Read the book The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum in advance, and then come down to VisArt Video to watch the 1939 adaptation, The Wizard of Oz, directed by Victor Fleming, starring Judy Garland, Frank Morgan, Ray Bolger, Bert Lahr, Jack Haley, and Margaret Hamilton. Then, we’ll duke it out to decide who told it best: the book or the film! Popcorn provided. Boxing gloves not included.
