Who Told it Best? Book vs. Film: Where the Wild Things Are

If you know, you know! A facilitator from the library will read the book Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak to the group at the event at VisArt Video. Then we’ll watch the 2009 adaptation directed by Spike Jonze, starring the voices of Max Records, Catherine O’Hara, Forest Whitaker, Catherine Keener, James Gandolfini, and Mark Ruffalo. Then, we’ll duke it out to decide who told it best: the book or the film! Popcorn provided. Boxing gloves not included. We will also make crafts together related to the film. We’ll provide the supplies. You provide the creativity!
